In the Danish Youth Association of Science, we strive to make science accessible to everyone – especially the youth. This year a way to achieve this is by hosting the annual MILSET’s International Science Summer Camp.
We aim to create a space where young people with interest in science can meet likeminded people. To us, it’s not the academically level and level of education that matters to us, but the interest in science and the desire to learn. The association is non-profit and has about 450 volunteers, who is also responsible for the organization of this camp.
MILSET Europe is a European non-governmental, non-profit and politically independent youth organisation, which aims at developing scientific culture among young people through the organisation of science-and-technology programmes, including science fairs, science camps, congresses and others activities of high quality.
The academics of the camp will be at introductory university level but made accessible to high school students. Since, as mentioned above, the purpose of The Danish Youth Association of Science is to make science accessible to everyone, we encourage everyone with an interest in science to apply regardless of their academical level.
