Time and place

The International Science Summer Camp will take place July 13th through 20th 2019 at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Denmark. We will be working, eating, sleeping and do most of the other activities at the university. The sleeping quarters will not include mattresses or other forms of beds, so participants will need to bring something to sleep on and pillows, blankets etc. themselves.

Price

There is a participation fee of 150€.

The registration fee includes:

• Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Accommodation
• Programme of activities
• Transportation between camps venues, from the nearest airport and to the university/accommodation.
• Provision of drinking still water for the duration of the camp (preferably tap water)

The price does not include:

• Transportation from the participant’s home to the university’s nearest airport.
• Personal expenses
• Cost of arrival earlier than the camp start date or departure after the camp and date.
• Insurance (see below)
• Visa if needed (but the coordinator will be able to help acquiring visa if needed)

Payment:

The participants will be able to pay the fee in advance (eg: by bank transfer). Alternatively, the host may accept payment upon arrival of the participants.

Insurance

The Danish Youth Association of Science is not providing insurance for the participants. It is strongly advised that the participants are having an insurance that covers damage to themselves and others as well as damage to own and others property (like materials at the university).

Similarly, you are yourself completely responsible for items you bring to the camp, e.g. laptop, smartphone and so on.
